Job summary

Australian Payments Plus in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to run, improve and secure our cloud and hybrid infrastructure behind Australia’s digital payments platforms. You’ll provision, configure and operate services, automate routines and help ensure resilience across environments.

You’ll work with engineers and service teams to strengthen security, performance and change processes, contributing to reliable, scalable services that Australians depend on daily.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, security and operational procedures.
• Experience with automation, monitoring and change management.

Responsibilities

• Provision, deploy and configure cloud and infrastructure services per standards.
• Monitor performance, availability and security events; troubleshoot issues.
• Handle system maintenance, patching, backups and restorations.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting to improve efficiency.
• Support change management and configuration procedures; document changes.
• Collaborate with engineers and service teams to improve infrastructure outcomes.
