EML is Australia’s largest specialist in personal injury claims management. We are hiring a Claims Assistant in Sydney on a permanent full-time basis to support Case Managers with claims processing and documentation.

You’ll bring administration or customer service experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Word/Excel. This role offers hybrid work, development opportunities and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration, office support or customer service.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; able to learn new systems quickly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Case Managers to assist with day-to-day management of claims.
• Process claims documentation, correspondence, mail and filing accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate medical appointments, investigations, police reports and interpreter services.
• Respond to basic enquiries from workers, providers and other stakeholders.
• Process invoices, payments and reimbursements in line with relevant requirements.
• Support the accurate and timely processing of claims information and documentation.
• Maintain organised and up-to-date claims records.
• Work closely with Case Managers and the wider team to ensure tasks are completed on time.
