Job summary

Suncorp Group in Sydney's CBD is seeking a Claims Advisor to join the Workers Compensation team and manage a portfolio of personal injury claims. The role is based at our Shelley St.

office with a hybrid work arrangement—3 days per week from home after training. You will assess medical, financial and rehabilitation information, ensure legislative timelines are met, advocate for cost-effective resolutions and support injured workers and employers with a high standard of service.

Qualifications

• Previous Workers Compensation or personal injury claims experience.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy for the customer.
• Excellent verbal communication and written skills, capable of negotiating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review medical, financial, investigative and rehabilitation reports to assess claims.
• Ensure legislative timeframes and ongoing review of reports.
• Adopt strategies to resolve claims cost-effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service to legislative authorities, employers and injured workers.
