Water Corporation invites applications for a Civil Engineering Operations Support Engineer to provide essential technical support for WA's water, wastewater and drainage assets. The role supports reactive repairs, asset maintenance planning, and minor project delivery in a flexible hybrid work environment.

The successful candidate will have a degree in engineering with civil water industry experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work across multiple teams in a utility setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Significant civil water industry experience.
• Excellent communication and cross‑team collaboration.
• Maintenance and asset health experience in utilities.
• Experience resolving construction/technical issues.
• SAP/Maximo familiarity desirable.
• Australian C Class drivers' licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical guidance in reactive repair work (sinkholes, bursts, blockages).
• Undertaking investigations and preparing technical reports.
• Planning and reviewing proactive asset maintenance.
• Delivering minor projects to address asset deficiencies.
• Investigating customer queries with Local Government for best outcomes.
• Reviewing projects for safe operability and maintainability.
• Communicating operational needs to technical and leadership stakeholders.
