Job summary

Water Corporation in Western Australia seeks a civil engineer to provide technical support for the state’s water, wastewater and drainage assets. The role reports to the Senior Engineer - Civil and supports reactive repairs and asset maintenance in a fast-paced team.

You will work in a hybrid arrangement with flexible hours and work-from-home options, contributing to safe, reliable water infrastructure for WA communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
• Comprehensive knowledge of design, operation and maintenance of water, wastewater and drainage assets.
• Excellent communication and ability to work across teams.
• Experience supporting civil engineering/utility assets is preferred.
• Knowledge of CMMS like SAP/Maximo desirable and a valid Australian C-class license.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance in reactive repair work (sinkholes, bursts, blockages).
• Prepare investigations and technical reports.
• Plan and review proactive asset maintenance.
• Deliver minor projects to address asset deficiencies.
• Resolve customer queries with Local Government for best outcomes.
• Ensure proposed projects are safe, operable and maintainable.
