Job summary

Water Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Capital Project Delivery team in Western Australia. You will coordinate scope, design, construction, commissioning and handovers, ensuring projects meet safety, quality and schedule targets.

Qualifications

Degree-level Civil Engineering qualification.
Water-industry engineering experience.
Experience with tendering, contract-award and administration.
Ability to review specifications and tender documents.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable knowledge of Water Corporation's project management principles.

Responsibilities

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive project delivery.
Act as Principal’s Representative on two-party contracts.
Provide technical assistance by collaborating with design consultants, contractors and suppliers.
Regularly inspect construction sites and address hazards.
Review specifications and tender documents; recommend acceptance.
Report project outcomes and capture lessons learnt.
Ensure activities comply with PM procedures, OSH, environment and quality systems.
