Job summary

Guild Group in Australia is seeking a Casualty Claims Specialist to manage a portfolio of up to 100 claims, blending active and dormant matters and collaborating with senior colleagues and legal partners on more complex files.

You will handle enquiries with clarity and empathy, assess coverage, liability and quantum, and set effective resolution strategies while maintaining accurate file standards and engaging with regulators and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing claims in a casualty portfolio.
• Strong understanding of legislation and civil claims processes and/or PI/PL matters.
• Ability to provide commercial, timely and well‑reasoned decisions.
• Excellent communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working both independently and in a team.
• A law degree is helpful but not essential; health-related experience is a bonus.
