Job summary

UNSW is seeking a Career Coach within the Employability Coaching & Development team. You will deliver targeted career coaching, run development programs, and lead workshops to enhance student employability and a holistic professional identity. Collaboration with faculties and student partners is essential.

The role reports to the Manager, Career Development and is based in Kensington with hybrid flexible working, 35 hours per week, fixed-term to Dec 2028.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience in employability or equivalent.
• Graduate Certificate in Career Development (CICA endorsed) desirable.
• Understanding of university graduate employability in higher education and delivering career coaching and workshops.
• Proven ability to coach students in career and life design to enhance employability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality front-line career coaching, programs, workshops and initiatives for UNSW students.
• Collect and analyse data to drive innovation, quality, and continuous improvement in coaching programs.
• Monitor and report on effectiveness of initiatives using data analytics to promote equity and inclusion.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff, faculties, and external stakeholders.
