The University of Canberra is seeking an experienced Senior Careers Consultant to support students in making informed career decisions, develop career management skills, and successfully transition into employment.

You will design, deliver and evaluate career development programs, workshops and digital resources, and build strong relationships with employers and university stakeholders to boost student outcomes.

Formación

• Relevant experience and/or qualifications in career development, career coaching, or career advisory services.
• Membership with the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) or the National Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (NAGCAS) highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Ability to develop, review, and deliver career development content online and in person.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one career coaching and guidance to students.
• Support career planning, decision-making, job search strategies, and employability development.
• Design, develop, facilitate and evaluate career development programs, workshops, webinars, and presentations.
• Create, review and maintain career development resources, online content, publications, and digital learning materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, and university stakeholders to support student career outcomes.
• Promote Careers & Employability services across the university community.
• Represent the university at industry events, employer engagement activities, and relevant internal committees.
