Job summary

Legal Aid NSW is seeking a Capability and Performance Lead based in Central Sydney. You will own an assigned capability domain across learning, leadership, performance or talent, shaping frameworks and program cycles, and delivering practical content and pathways.

You will partner with Senior People Partners to ensure enterprise frameworks are applied consistently across portfolios, regions and workforce groups.

Qualifications

• Hold Australian or NZ citizenship or Australian permanent residency (for ongoing roles)
• Be willing to travel to regional and metropolitan offices as required
• Possess tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or related field, or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Own an assigned capability and keep its frameworks, tools, program cycles and guidance clear, current and scalable
• Design and deliver structured program cycles across learning, leadership, performance or talent
• Lead facilitation, content design, learning pathway development and capability uplift initiatives
• Partner with Senior People Partners and leaders to understand portfolio needs and support consistent application of enterprise frameworks
• Coordinate advisory and specialist contributions so capability effort is directed to priority organisational outcomes
• Use participation data, evaluation outcomes and stakeholder feedback to assess impact and improve future program design
• Provide specialist advice on capability development, leadership uplift, performance enablement and talent practices
