2XM Recruit in Sydney is seeking a Business Development Representative to join a growing commercial cleaning business focused on securing and managing cleaning contracts across commercial buildings and facilities. This hands-on sales role identifies new opportunities, generates leads, understands client requirements and converts opportunities into long-term contracts.

The role requires proven sales experience, strong cold-calling skills, excellent communication and relationship-building

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or sales (Specifcally Telesales).
• Demonstrated success in securing new business and growing revenue.
• Strong cold-calling and prospecting capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly motivated, resilient and target-driven.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals and industry relationships.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients across commercial office buildings, strata, industrial facilities and mixed use developments.
• Conduct site inspections to assess client requirements and identify suitable service solutions.
• Prepare and present tailored cleaning proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate service agreements and secure new contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, building owners, asset managers and key decision makers.
• Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management and forecasting through CRM systems.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
