CTM is seeking an Assistant Accountant to deliver timely financial information to the Finance Reporting Manager. The role focuses on monthly reports, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting, coordinating with the wider finance team to ensure accuracy.

This is a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment, supporting month-end close and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Must be proactive and able to work under strict deadlines.
• At least four years’ experience within a finance team.
• Experience within travel is a distinct advantage.
• Strong accuracy to identify and correct errors.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team and on own initiative.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsabilités

• Perform month-end tasks including journals with backups and supporting other team members.
• Support the offshore team during month-end and in BAU processes.
• Prepare management accounts with balance sheet reconciliations and P&L variance analysis.
• Month-end checks around receivables and payables.
• Provide support to the manager in preparing variance analysis on monthly results.
• Support wider finance team with strict deadlines around month end.
• Review and check accuracy of accounts receivable and payable.
• Assist interim and year-end statutory audits.
• Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required.
