The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is seeking an Asset Support Officer to provide day-to-day technical and administrative support to asset management activities, ensuring critical assets are maintained, compliant, safe and ready for deployment at Kyle Road, Altona North. This hands-on role combines technical work with administration and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Practical skills associated with asset maintenance, repair or management.
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Experience working collaboratively within a team environment.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and customer service.
• Sound business and commercial awareness.
• A current driver's licence appropriate to the fleet.
• A forklift licence (LF), or willingness to obtain one if required.
• The ability to undertake physically demanding tasks, including manual handling and working in restricted environments.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and support planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose, repair and maintain assigned assets.
• Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records.
• Liaise with service providers and internal stakeholders to coordinate works and resolve issues.
• Support asset planning, documentation, meeting coordination and action tracking.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with policies and standards.
• Assist with emergency management activities and surge priorities as required.
