Job summary

A major mechanical contractor in Sydney is seeking an experienced HVAC Site Manager to drive growth and delivery of commercial fit-out projects. You will oversee multiple projects on site, coordinating subcontractors, safety, and program to ensure high-quality outcomes.

You will manage projects up to $3m, liaising with clients and consultants while leading on-site teams and trades to meet timelines and budgets in a dynamic, growing division.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as HVAC Site Manager or Senior Supervisor.
• Strong background delivering commercial HVAC fit-out projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Sound understanding of mechanical services and commercial installations.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• White Card and relevant trade or technical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial HVAC fit-out projects from site establishment through to completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.

A major mechanical contractor has recently established a new division and is seeking an experienced HVAC Site Manager to help grow and deliver a portfolio of commercial fit-out projects across Sydney.

This is a rare opportunity to get in during the early days of a newly formed division within a well-established business.

You’ll be managing multiple projects at once, with values up to $3m — hands‑on onsite, coordinating subcontractors, managing safety and program, and ensuring high‑quality delivery.

About the Role

• Play a key part in growing a newly established commercial fit-out division
• Manage commercial HVAC fit-out projects from site establishment through to completion
• Run multiple concurrent projects up to $3m in value
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
• Manage site safety, quality, and compliance
• Monitor progress against programme and budgets
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and builders onsite
