Job summary

G & R Fabrication is seeking an experienced Sheetmetal Worker in South Windsor, NSW 2756 to join its fabrication team. The role covers fabrication and installation of ductwork for HVAC projects, with on-site work at residential and commercial sites.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, select metal stock, cut and form metal, and assemble ductwork using welding, riveting and other joining methods. A minimum of one year experience is required; Certificate III in Engineering is desirable.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Sheetmetal Worker or Fabricator required.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and safe work practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints to determine job, material and equipment needs.
• Cut and form metal stock using hand/power tools and machines.
• Fit, weld and rivet components to assemble ductwork.
• Liaise with site teams to coordinate ductwork installation.
