Job summary

Avant-Garde Insulations is seeking experienced laggers and sheetmetal workers for our Sydney-based team in the HVAC sector. The role requires on-site work on commercial construction projects, with the ability to work independently and safely meet project requirements.

You will insulate pipework and ductwork, install sheet metal cladding, review installation plans, prepare work areas, and order materials while following company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience as lagger and sheetmetal worker in the commercial construction sector.
• Ability to work independently on-site and as part of a team.
• On-site certifications: White Card; EWP and Working at Heights preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insulate pipework and ductwork in the HVAC industry.
• Install sheet metal cladding to insulated pipework.
• Read and understand installation plans.
• Prepare work area and order materials.
• Comply with safety requirements.
