Job summary

Danton Insulation & Sheetmetal in Kirrawee NSW is seeking highly skilled laggers to join our expanding team on tier one construction projects across Sydney. You will insulate pipes and valves, install cladding to pipes, and work on fire-rated walls, floors and service penetrations, ensuring compliance with plans and standards.

Applicants should have extensive lagging experience, strong knowledge of lagging and cladding procedures, and the ability to read construction plans.

Qualifications

• Extensive lagging experience is essential.
• Strong practical knowledge of lagging and cladding procedures on tier one construction projects.
• Can identify and rectify non-compliant installations.
• Can read and interpret construction plans; work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong eye for detail and quality; take safety seriously.

Danton Insulation & Sheetmetal is an industry-leading insulation and passive fire company with a rapidly expanding crew and a growing pipeline of projects across Sydney. We are looking for highly skilled and experienced Laggers to join our team. You will work on tier one construction projects, confident working independently, understanding lagging and cladding requirements thoroughly, and taking pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Insulating pipes and valves
• Installing cladding to pipes
• Fire-rated walls, floors and service penetrations
• Reading plans and identifying compliant solutions
• Completing quality-control documentation and site records
• Use of CTRL Doc system
• Working in accordance with Australian Standards, NCC requirements and manufacturer specifications

About you

• Extensive lagging experience is essential
• Strong practical knowledge of lagging and cladding procedures on tier one construction projects
• Can identify and rectify non-compliant installations
• Can read and interpret construction plansWork efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong eye for detail and quality
