Job summary

J-PIPES INSULATION PTY LTD in Sydney seeks an experienced insulation installer to fit acoustic and thermal insulation on plumbing and drainage systems across sites in Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.

You will measure, cut and install insulation, apply finishing tapes, and maintain a high standard of workmanship in line with project specs and WHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid Construction White Card – mandatory.
• Ability to work across different construction sites.
• Attention to detail and pride in neat, professional work.
• Accurate measuring and cutting of insulation materials.
• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
• Experience in pipe lagging, insulation, plumbing or construction is valued.

The role involves installing acoustic and thermal insulation to plumbing and drainage services across a range of construction projects throughout Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.

Key responsibilities

Install acoustic insulation materials to various plumbing and drainage services

Install thermal insulation to hot and cold water pipework and associated plumbing services

Measure and cut insulation materials accurately to suit different pipe sizes, fittings and site requirements

Install insulation neatly, securely and with a high level of attention to detail

Apply tapes and finishing materials correctly, ensuring there are no exposed or protruding tape edges that may cause the lagging to loosen or fall

Ensure insulation is properly fitted around bends, joints, fittings and other pipework components

Maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship across all installations

Follow project specifications, site requirements and installation procedures

Work efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting project deadlines

Follow all site WHS requirements and maintain a clean and safe working environment

About you
