Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Supervisor to lead our South Australian service team and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our commercial and industrial customers.This is an opportunity for a proven HVAC professional who enjoys mentoring technicians, building customer relationships, driving service excellence, and contributing to business growth.About the RoleAs the HVAC Service Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of service technicians while remaining hands-on with technical support, troubleshooting, customer engagement, and operational performance.You'll ensure service delivery exceeds customer expectations while maintaining compliance with Australian Standards, contractual obligations, and Equans' commitment to safety, quality, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, coach and provide technical support to a team of HVAC Technicians.Supervise service delivery across commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.Inspect, test and assess HVAC and refrigeration equipment in accordance with Australian Standards and client requirements.Assist in identifying and securing repair, replacement, upgrade and improvement opportunities within existing customer contracts.Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service outcomes.Proactively manage customer concerns and complaints and drive efficient resolutions.Coordinate technician workloads, route planning and job scheduling to maximise productivity and service delivery.Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.Monitor and improve operational efficiencies through effective time management, stock control and resource allocation.Review service activities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure accurate completion of call reports, annual reports, technician trackers and timesheets.Participate in an after-hours on-call roster and attend service call-outs when required.Attend toolbox meetings, training sessions and safety initiatives.Maintain a high level of professional presentation across personnel and company vehicles.Promote and uphold all company policies, procedures and safety requirements.About YouYou're a respected HVAC professional with strong leadership capability, technical expertise and a customer-first mindset. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy coaching others, and know how to balance operational performance with outstanding customer service.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience within commercial and industrial HVAC service, maintenance and installation environments.Minimum 5 years' field experience, ideally within the HVAC mechanical services industry.Previous experience leading teams or supervising technicians.Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and technical troubleshooting capability.Demonstrated ability to prioritise work, manage competing deadlines and minimise repeat call-backs.Experience driving process compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management abilities.Analytical approach to reviewing performance and identifying improvement opportunities.Thorough understanding of relevant Australian Standards, HVAC codes and industry regulations.Current Refrigerant Handling Licence.Restricted Electrical Licence.Construction Industry White Card.Current Australian Driver's Licence.Why Equans?At Equans, our people are at the centre of everything we do.
