Job summary

TVH (Total Ventilation & Hygiene Services) is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to service, maintain and install commercial HVAC systems across Sydney. You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance and complete installation work, while delivering safe, high-quality workmanship.

The role requires a hands-on pro who can work independently or within a team, with a commitment to OH&S and strong customer service on site.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in commercial HVAC service, maintenance and installation.
• Trade qualification in refrigeration/air-conditioning as required.
• Valid refrigerant handling licence and electrical licence where applicable.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain commercial HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Carry out installation and related works for commercial air-conditioning.
• Complete fault finding and troubleshooting and document outcomes.
• Attend client sites providing professional and reliable service.
• Identify additional maintenance and repair requirements.
• Complete service reports and mandated documentation.
• Work safely and in compliance with standards and company procedures.
• Maintain high workmanship and professional presentation.
• Collaborate with team while able to work independently.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to join our growing team in Sydney NSW.

Working across a range of commercial customer sites, you'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repair and installation of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

This is a hands‑on role suited to an experienced technician who takes pride in their workmanship, provides excellent customer service and can work safely and independently while being part of a supportive team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Service and maintain commercial HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and refrigeration faults.
• Carry out commercial air-conditioning installation and associated works.
• Complete fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Attend customer sites and provide professional and reliable service.
• Identify additional maintenance and repair requirements.
• Complete service reports, job sheets and required documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and company procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and professional presentation.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Bring

• Extensive experience in commercial HVAC service, maintenance, repair and installation.
• Australian Refrigeration and Air Conditioning trade qualification.
• Current and valid ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Current NSW Restricted Electrical Licence or appropriate electrical licence.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Proven experience in servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Experience with commercial air-conditioning installation.
• Strong focus and commitment to OH&S and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A genuine can-do attitude and willingness to develop your skills.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
