Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead a well-established contractor's Sydney service division. You will own the service function, manage an established team of technicians and apprentices, and drive growth through existing contracts and new business opportunities.

Based in Sydney with work extending to Newcastle, this role offers autonomy to shape the division, strengthen client relationships, and deliver on ambitious growth plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HVAC Service Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems and service operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing service teams.
• Strong business development and client relationship skills.
• Proven ability to bring on new contracts and grow existing accounts.
• Strong commercial and financial understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service division.
• Lead, develop and grow the existing team of technicians and apprentices.
• Manage key service and maintenance contracts across Sydney and Newcastle.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and service contracts.
• Oversee project and minor works opportunities generated through the existing client base.

I’m currently recruiting an experienced HVAC Service Manager to join a well-established HVAC contractor in Sydney.

The business has a strong portfolio of service and maintenance contracts, alongside a growing project division. The successful candidate will take ownership of the service division, lead an established team and play a key role in growing the business.

With an established team already in place, there is a strong platform to build from. The business has ambitious growth plans and is looking for someone with the experience and commercial drive to develop the team, strengthen client relationships and bring on new contracts.
