Modus Projects in Brisbane is seeking HVAC & Refrigeration Apprentices to join our supportive team. 1st/2nd year apprentices are encouraged to apply, with 3rd/4th year welcomed as well. Learn from experienced tradespeople and build a long-term career in HVAC.

Get hands-on experience on commercial sites, alongside qualified technicians, with mentoring and ongoing development throughout your apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• 1st and 2nd year apprentices strongly encouraged to apply.
• 3rd and 4th year apprentices also welcome.
• Current trainee refrigerant handling licence through ARCtick, or willingness to obtain the required licence.
• Current driver's licence.
• White Card.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Confidence completing service reports, or willingness to learn.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine interest in HVAC and refrigeration.
• Willingness to complete police and medical checks.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Get hands-on experience across key commercial sites, working alongside qualified HVAC technicians and learning the trade from the ground up.

You'll gain exposure to:

• Fault finding, servicing and practical trade skills.
• Commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Preventative, reactive, and planned HVAC maintenance.
• Working across diverse commercial sites for major corporate clients.
• Customer service, site safety and completing service reports.

You'll receive ongoing guidance, one-on-one mentoring and support from experienced tradespeople who want to see you succeed.
