Job summary

Modus Projects is seeking motivated HVAC & Refrigeration Apprentices in Sydney to learn from experienced tradespeople on commercial sites.

1st–2nd year apprentices are strongly encouraged to apply, with 3rd–4th years welcome. Applicants should hold an ARCtick refrigerant licence or be willing to obtain it, plus a valid driver’s licence and White Card. A supportive team culture and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Attitude and eagerness to learn new trades.
• Strong communication and customer-service mindset.
• Commitment to developing HVAC/refrigeration skills.

Responsibilities

• Get hands-on experience across commercial sites with qualified HVAC techs.
• Learn fault finding, servicing and practical trade skills.
• Assist with preventative, reactive and planned maintenance.
• Complete service reports and maintain site safety.
• Interact with customers on-site and ensure quality workmanship.
