Prestige Refrigeration & Air Conditioning in Brisbane/SEQ is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to join our growing team. You’ll work on commercial HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical projects, gaining hands-on experience.

This full-time role offers an immediate start, monthly RDO, and the chance to develop technical and fault-finding skills with support from experienced tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Current 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration apprenticeship
• Available for an immediate start
• Previous hands‑on industry experience
• Current driver's licence
• Construction White Card
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• Willingness to learn and take direction

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified tradespeople on commercial HVAC installations
• Support ducted and split system installations
• Assist with VRV/VRF systems setup and commissioning
• Handle refrigeration equipment and mechanical ventilation tasks
• Support copper pipework, drains and electrical cabling
• Participate in ductwork, grilles and mechanical fit-off
• Assist with service, maintenance and fault finding
• Contribute to testing and commissioning
• Support commercial construction and project work

Prestige Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to join our growing team.

This is a great opportunity for an apprentice who already has solid industry experience and wants to continue developing their skills across a variety of commercial air conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical projects.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, turns up with the right attitude and is keen to become a quality tradesperson.

Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice - IMMEDIATE START

What You'll Be Doing

Working alongside our qualified tradespeople, you'll gain hands-on experience across:

• Commercial air conditioning installations

• Ducted and split system installations

• VRV/VRF systems

• Refrigeration equipment

• Mechanical ventilation systems

• Copper pipework, drains and electrical cabling

• Ductwork, grilles and mechanical fit-off

• Service, maintenance and fault finding
