Industrial Air is seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Engineer to join our Adelaide team, supporting SA, NT and WA. You will manage tender opportunities, review project specifications and provide technical recommendations and quotations across HVAC&R product ranges.

The role combines technical knowledge with commercial acumen, working with engineers, contractors and dealers to deliver competitive submissions and successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience within the air conditioning or HVAC&R industry.
• Understanding of unitary and applied air conditioning products and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Experience in tender preparation, equipment selection, estimating or technical sales is highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational, planning and time management capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Manage incoming project enquiries and tender opportunities across all applications.
• Review tender documentation, specifications, drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate equipment selections and prepare technical recommendations to meet project specifications.
• Prepare and submit quotations, tenders, proposals and alternative product recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for alternative equipment selections and value-engineered solutions.
• Liaise with consulting engineers, contractors, dealers and suppliers throughout the tender process.
• Proactively follow up submitted quotations and tenders to maximise successful outcomes.
