Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an HVAC Project Manager to lead commercial and mechanical projects from award to handover in North Sydney. You will drive programmes, budgets, and procurement, coordinating subcontractors and site activities to ensure timely delivery and compliant outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in HVAC project delivery, with qualifications in mechanical engineering or building services highly regarded. A salary of AUD 140k–155k plus car allowance and super is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years delivering commercial HVAC and mechanical projects.
• Experience as Mechanical Project Manager, HVAC Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer.
• Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Construction Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from award through commissioning and handover.
• Manage project programmes, budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site activities, procurement, and commissioning works.
• Ensure WHS, QA, and regulatory compliance across all project sites.
• Provide technical and engineering leadership to optimise design, installation, and performance outcomes.
• Manage client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships, including progress reporting, variations, and risk management.

Our client is a well-established Australian Mechanical HVAC contractor, delivering top class projects across Commercial and Residential sectors. Their reputation for excellence has meant they have grown and continue to grow at a fantastic rate. They are looking for a HVAC Project Manager that wants to join the business at an exciting time initially managing an $8M project in North Sydney.

As a HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from award through to commissioning and handover
• Managing project programmes, budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial performance
• Coordinating subcontractors, site activities, procurement, and commissioning works
