Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced HVAC Site Manager to lead on-site operations for commercial HVAC projects, including hospitals, universities, and office refurbishments.

You will coordinate trades, review drawings, enforce WHS standards and ensure work is completed to schedule and budget, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. This role offers a salary up to AUD 120K plus Super and a Company Car, with ongoing project opportunities across Sydney.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HVAC Site Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong background in commercial HVAC installation, fit-outs, upgrades or mechanical replacement projects.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating subcontractors, trades and site activities.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills, with a focus on safety, quality and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations across HVAC installation, fit-out, upgrade and replacement projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, suppliers and site personnel to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure works comply with project specifications, drawings and Australian Standards.
• Monitor site safety, quality control and WHS compliance.
• Liaise with Project Managers, clients and other trades to resolve site issues and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

An established mechanical services contractor specialising in HVAC installations, upgrades and refurbishments across commercial buildings is looking for an experienced HVAC Site Manager to join their team.

With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects across hospital fit-outs, university upgrades, commercial fit-outs and mechanical replacement works, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering a diverse range of projects across Sydney.

You’ll take ownership of site operations, coordinate trades and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
