Job summary

Carrier is seeking an experienced Modernisation Project Manager in Australia to lead HVAC service and modernisation projects from planning through delivery, ensuring safety, on‑time completion and budget adherence. You will work with customers, subcontractors and internal teams to meet contractual obligations and uphold Carrier standards.

Key strengths include HVAC technical knowledge, ability to manage multiple projects, budgeting and forecasting, and strong stakeholder negotiation.

Qualifications

3–5 years’ PM experience in HVAC, mechanical services or building services.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation practices and commissioning.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects within time and budget.
Experience in budget management, cost control and financial reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
Commitment to health, safety and regulatory compliance on site.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management.

Responsibilities

Lead HVAC projects from initiation through to completion.
Develop and manage project schedules, scopes, resources and delivery plans.
Manage subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders within budget.
Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasting, cost control and profitability.
Ensure WHS compliance and Carrier safety standards on site.
Oversee documentation, commissioning, handover and close‑out.
Build relationships with customers, engineers and sales for project success.
Provide status updates, reporting and risk mitigation to stakeholders.
