Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Modernisation Business Development Manager to identify, develop and secure HVAC retrofit, upgrade and modernisation opportunities across Sydney market. You will drive growth through energy efficiency improvements and lifecycle projects with building owners and consultants.

Leverage Carrier's service base while pursuing new business opportunities, managing pipelines, and delivering technically sound, commercially competitive proposals across commercial, healthcare, education,

Qualifications

Proven experience selling HVAC projects and building services solutions in commercial environments.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems: chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, pumps, BMS and controls.
Ability to identify, develop and manage project opportunities through the full sales lifecycle.
Experience preparing technical proposals and solution-based recommendations aligned with client needs.
Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills; ability to interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure retrofit, upgrade and modernisation opportunities across assets.
Develop tailored technical solutions and business cases aligned with client objectives.
Prepare competitive proposals and manage the sales pipeline through to contract award.
Build relationships with owners, facility managers, consultants and contractors.
