Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Sydney is seeking a Modernisation Business Development Manager to identify, develop and win HVAC retrofit, upgrade and lifecycle modernisation opportunities across commercial and industrial assets.

You will engage owners, facility managers and contractors to craft technically sound, commercially competitive solutions, leveraging Carrier's service base while pursuing new opportunities in the Sydney metropolitan market.

Qualifications

Proven experience selling HVAC retrofit projects, upgrades or building services solutions in commercial environments.
Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, cooling towers, pumps, BMS, controls).
Experience managing opportunities through full sales lifecycle.
Experience preparing technical proposals and quotations aligned with customer requirements.
Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop HVAC retrofit, modernisation, and lifecycle upgrade opportunities across various sectors.
Build relationships with customers, consultants, facility managers, asset owners and contractors.
Conduct site assessments to identify improvement opportunities and energy efficiency upgrades.
Develop tailored technical solutions and business cases aligned with customer objectives.
Prepare and deliver competitive technical and commercial proposals with project delivery teams.
Manage opportunities through the complete sales lifecycle from qualification to contract award.
Maintain accurate pipelines, forecasts and market intelligence while meeting targets.
Support smooth project handover with operations for successful delivery and satisfaction.
