Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Modernisation Project Manager to lead HVAC service and modernisation projects in NSW. You will manage full project lifecycle, coordinate customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver on time, on budget and to Carrier standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of PM experience in HVAC/building services, strong budgeting and stakeholder management, and a tertiary engineering or PM qualification. On-site work at Lidcombe NSW with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' project management experience within HVAC/building services.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installation, and commissioning processes.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, delivering on time and within budget.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, financial reporting, and commercial decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Commitment to workplace health, safety, and regulatory compliance across project sites.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, PM, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of HVAC projects from initiation through to completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules, scopes, resources, and delivery plans to achieve objectives.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, Carrier safety standards, and customer-specific safety requirements.
• Oversee project documentation, commissioning, handover, and close-out in line with Carrier quality standards.
• Provide regular project status updates, commercial reporting, and risk mitigation.
