Job summary

Grosvenor Engineering Group in Sydney is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Services - Rigging Technician to service and rig plant equipment across commercial sites, offices, retail and data centres in the Greater Sydney area. You will identify defective components, overhaul pumps, perform laser alignment, and contribute to safety and quality in a dynamic team.

Trade qualifications (Cert III in AC&R, Plumbing Licence or Rigging Ticket) and current licences are required, with opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Trade Qualification – Cert III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, Plumbing Licence or Rigging Ticket.
• White card and Current Driver’s Licence.
• Hands on experience with repairs, emergency breakdowns and maintenance on HVAC assets in commercial backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Identify defective mechanical components across HVAC systems.
• Major asset overhaul and rebuild activities on pumps and other mechanical components.
• Servicing on major mechanical assets and laser alignment of pumps and motors.
• Work on repairs in commercial buildings including high rise offices, retail and data centres.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity forHVAC Mechanical Services - RiggingTechnician working acrossthe Greater Sydneyarea who are passionate about contributing to the success of our business. You’ll be working across a variety of sites including Commercial sites, Offices, Retail, Construction etc, providing mechanical repairs and rigging of plant equipment.

What will you be doing?

• Identify defective mechanical components across a range of HVAC systems.
• Major asset overhaul and rebuild activities on pumps and other mechanical components.
• Servicing on major mechanical assets.
• Laser Alignment of pumps and motors
• Various repairs in commercial buildings including high rise office towers, shopping centres and Data Centres.
• Work with some of the best technicians Australia has to offer in a motivated team environment.
• Identify hazards and safety issues.
• Liaise with work coordinators and management.
• Provide high level customer service to clients.
• Identify opportunities for potential repairs, upgrade works, refurbishments, and new business.

What will you need to join the team?

• Trade Qualification– Cert III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration, Plumbing Licence or Rigging Ticket
• White cardandCurrent Driver’s Licence
• Hands on experiencewith repairs, emergency breakdowns and maintenance on a variety ofHVACassets in commercial backgrounds
