Job summary

Grosvenor Engineering Group is seeking an HVAC Mechanical Services - Rigging Technician to support the Greater Sydney area, performing mechanical repairs and rigging across commercial sites, offices, retail, and construction environments.

You will identify faults, overhaul pumps, perform laser alignments, and work with a skilled team to deliver reliable services. A trade qualification and current licenses are required, with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in HVAC or related field.
• White card and current driver’s licence.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC repairs in commercial settings.
• Ability to work in a team or autonomously.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify defective mechanical components across HVAC systems.
• Overhaul and rebuild pumps and other mechanical components.
• Service major mechanical assets.
• Laser alignment of pumps and motors.
• Repairs in commercial buildings including high rise towers, shopping centres and data centres.
• Collaborate with technicians in a motivated team environment.
• Identify hazards and safety issues.
• Liaise with work coordinators and management.
• Provide high level customer service to clients.
• Identify opportunities for repairs, upgrades, refurbishments, and new business.
