Job summary

Grosvenor Engineering Group in Sydney is seeking a Construction Project Manager – HVAC to lead refurbishment and fit-out construction projects from site to completion.

The role requires experience in HVAC project management within the construction sector, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage budgets and deadlines. Join a team delivering value to building owners and occupants across ANZ.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC project management, preferably in construction.
• HVAC technicians or engineers with installation exposure.
• Experience managing project budgets.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate & deliver refurbishment and fit-out construction projects, including design options, costs, and documentation.
• Provide high-level stakeholder engagement and manage expectations for effective delivery of project outcomes.
• Coordinate and schedule project-related tasks; monitor project costs, invoicing and subcontractor pricing.
• Assist with design preparation of D+C projects, including site visits, scoping and pricing for existing and non-contracted clients.
• Co-ordinate & deliver tender proposals in target markets, prepare tender submissions, review proposals and drawings, and meet submission deadlines.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Construction Project Manager – HVAC to join the team and work out of our office inSydney.

Job Description

The Role:

• Co-ordinate & deliver refurbishment and fit out construction projects. This will involve identifying design options, interpreting project requirements, equipment selection, management of labour and subcontractors, WHS & site management,Quality management, monitor & manage project costspreparing & co-ordinating project documentation.
• Provide high levelstakeholder engagementandmanage expectations to ensureeffectivedelivery of project outcomes.
• Co-ordinate and schedule project related tasks.
• Monitorproject costs, Invoicing and sub-contractorpricing.
• Provide high quality service to clients.
• Assisting with the design preparation of D+C projects including Attending sites, problem solving, scoping and pricing works for both existing and non-contracted clients
• Co‐ordinate & deliver tender proposals in our target markets. This will involve preparing tender submissions. Co‐ordinating supplier & subcontractor pricing and reviewing of proposals. Reviewing specifications and drawings, site conditions, design briefs and project requirements. Meeting submission deadlines.

Desired Skills and Experience

Selection Criteria

• Experiencein Project Management of HVAC projects preferably in the construction industry.
• Experienced HVAC technicians or HVAC engineers with high level technical skills and exposure to installation works, may be considered.
• Exposure to a variety of HVAC projects / installations in the mechanical industry.
• Experience managing and working to project budgets.
• Ability toprioritiseand work totight deadlines.
• Estimating experience preferred.
• Highly developedinterpersonal skillsincluding strong stakeholder engagement ability.
• Experience managing or implementing HSEQ requirements with a keen focus on all aspects of safety.
• Experience in HVAC essential - preferably in the Sydney market.
