Job summary

Vertiv in Sydney is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with HVAC/Thermal expertise to join our high performing team. You will carry out maintenance servicing, commissioning, and after-hours service as planned by the Service Operations Manager and Thermal Supervisor.

Key duties include planning visits, completing field service reports, maintaining equipment and company vehicle, and keeping up-to-date training across Vertiv technologies. A Restricted Electrical Licence is required.

Qualifications

Must have a Restricted Electrical Licence.
Technical knowledge in data centres, telecom, commercial or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Plan customer service maintenance visits in a structured and methodical manner.
Record hours worked and call out/response times using a digital reporting tool.
Complete Field Service Reports for every maintenance/service call.
Carry out commissioning, service contracts, and after-hours service commitments professionally.
Maintain relationships with customers and provide feedback to the Vertiv Team.
Keep training up to date across Vertiv technologies.
Maintain company vehicle and personal appearance to company standard.
Manage spare parts and onboard inventory.
