Job summary

Robert Mann Pty Ltd (RMPL) is seeking a trainee for an apprenticeship in HVAC service with learning milestones tied to TAFE modules and RMPL supervision. The role develops practical skills across maintenance and breakdown support within the Sydney Metropolitan area.

Training is on-the-job with further TAFE instruction; successful candidates will join a professional team and gain hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and general service tasks.

Qualifications

• Nil, on the job training provided.
• Good verbal and written skills.
• Ability to follow instruction and complete tasks as specified.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Service Technician with regular scheduled maintenance for clients.
• Attend break-down service calls with Service Technician in the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area (7:30am-4:00pm, Mon-Fri).
• Attend TAFE one day per week as directed by the RTO.
• Complete works as assigned by the Service Technician/Technical Manager.
• Follow instructions and have responsibilities reviewed; new duties added during apprenticeship.
• Represent RMPL professionally and adhere to company WHS policies on site.
• Complete training and assessments as set out by TAFE or RMPL.
