Qualifications

• No extensive industry experience required; the right attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
• Eligible to work in Australia; holding a current driver’s license or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, servicing and maintenance of air conditioning and HVAC equipment.
• Learn fault-find and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and servicing.
• Support the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Learn to safely use hand and power tools.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow Carrier’s health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Attend TAFE and complete all required apprenticeship training and assessments.
• Develop technical knowledge and practical skills through hands‑on experience.

Role Overview

Carrier Australia is looking for a motivated and reliable Air Conditioning Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced HVAC technicians, gain practical industry experience and work towards becoming a qualified Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician. You’ll combine on-the-job training with formal TAFE studies, gaining exposure to the installation, servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC and air conditioning systems.
