Essential Energy is seeking a qualified Cable Jointer to join our Operations, People and Safety team based from Lismore. You will be responsible for HV and LV distribution network asset construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair, with a focus on underground components.

The role requires working both independently and as part of a team, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and stakeholder liaison to ensure reliable regional energy supply.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing with electives inInstall, Maintain, Fault Find, Switching and repair or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
• Drivers licence
• WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate
• Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business requirements

Responsabilités

• General construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of HV and LV distribution network assets and equipment
• Emphasis on underground network components
• Work safely and comply with enterprise WHS and environmental procedures

Formation
