Job summary

Essential Energy in Lismore, NSW, seeks a qualified Cable Jointer to join the Operations, People and Safety team. You’ll construct, install, connect, maintain and repair HV/LV distribution assets, with emphasis on underground networks, while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.

Role requires a Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing or equivalent, a valid licence, and induction certification. Relocation and a comprehensive benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Cable Jointing or demonstrated capability via past employment.
• Drivers licence required.
• WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate required.
• Ongoing maintenance of regulatory, industry and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, connect, maintain and repair HV/LV distribution assets, with emphasis on underground network components.
• Work safely and in accordance with enterprise WHS and environmental procedures.
• Coordinate with teammates and stakeholders to ensure reliable network operations.
