Powertech, a trusted leader in high- and low-voltage commissioning across Australia, seeks an experienced High Voltage Cable Jointer to join the Malaga office on a full‑time permanent basis. You will joint/terminate underground HV/LV cables, perform HV terminations, install earthing grids, carry out LV works, and locate faults.

Relocation support to WA is available for the right candidate. The role requires Cert 3 or equivalent HV/LV Cable Jointing training, Electrical Trade Certification

Formación

• Cert 3 or equivalent training in HV and LV cable jointing.
• Electrical Trade Certification (preferred).
• WA accreditation for HV/LV jointing (preferred).
• High-risk work licence.
• Current WA Driver’s Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Minimum three years’ experience as Cable Jointer.
• Experience in XLPE terminations and joints.

Responsabilidades

• Jointing and termination of underground HV/LV power cables.
• HV terminations on various switchgear.
• Installation of earthing/earth grids for substation and HV assets.
• LV works including pillar installation and terminations/joints.
• Locate underground electric cable faults for repair.

Educación

Cert 3 or equivalent HV/LV Cable Jointing

Electrical Trade Certification (Preferred)

WA accreditation for HV/LV jointing (Preferred)

Construction White Card

Current WA Driver's License

High-risk work licence

Minimum 3 years' Cable Jointer experience

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced High Voltage Cable Jointer to join Powertech supporting our Malaga office on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

The person in this role will also have the opportunity to develop skills in HV/LV testing.

About The Role

• Strong work history in Cable Jointer role.
• Have at least three years’ experience as Cable Jointer.
• Experience in completing XLPE terminations and joints.
