Job summary

Power Kinnect Pty Ltd is seeking Electricians willing to be trained to become a Cable Jointer and/or qualified Cable Jointers for work predominantly around Port Macquarie, Forster and Taree. The successful candidates will be based out of our Wauchope depot.

Responsibilities include installation and jointing of cables up to 11kV, URD installation and commissioning, trenching and cabling, and adapting to a fast paced, changing workplace.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Licence required.
• Cert III in ESI - Distribution or Cert III Cable Jointer.
• Experience in environments such as Essential Energy or Ausgrid valued.
• Strong commitment to OH&S principles and practices.
• Good oral and written communication, and numeracy skills.
• Solid computer literacy and ability to meet deadlines.

About you

• NSW Electrical Licence
• Cert III in ESI - Distribution or Cert III Cable Jointer
• Experience working within a similar environment eg. Essential Energy, Ausgrid
• Possess a high level knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to OH&S principles and practices
• Sound oral, written communication and numeracy skills
• Sound computer literacy skills
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• MR licence would be an advantage
• Excavator ticket or experience would be an advantage
