Job summary

Mount St Joseph Catholic College Milperra is seeking an enthusiastic HSIE teacher to inspire students through student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.

You will deliver HSIE with potential Business Studies integration and foster inclusive, rigorous learning experiences for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Qualified HSIE teacher with ability to teach Business Studies.
• Strong classroom management and focus on student wellbeing.
• Tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.

Responsibilities

• Inspire students through student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment.
• Deliver HSIE curriculum with integration of Business Studies where appropriate.
• Create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences for all students.
• Maintain WWCC clearance and comply with SCS safeguarding requirements.

About Our School

Mount St Joseph Catholic College was opened in 1960 in answer to a desperate need for a Catholic girls’ secondary school in south-western Sydney. About You

As a HSIE Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in HSIE, with additional ability to teach Business Studies advantageous
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
