Job summary

Unitywater is seeking an HSEQ Performance Analyst to transform data into actionable insights that enhance safety, performance and business outcomes. You will create dashboards and analytics to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement across Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

You will partner with leaders to identify trends, risks and opportunities, delivering evidence-based recommendations and strengthening governance within the Integrated Management System.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, HSEQ, Human Resources or a related discipline.
• Experience in analytics, reporting and performance measurement, including the development of dashboards, metrics and business insights.
• Strong data analysis capability, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into meaningful recommendations.
• Experience using Power BI to develop reporting, visualisations and performance insights.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence decision-making and partner effectively across all levels of an organisation.
• Demonstrated project management, problem-solving and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to drive outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present insights and recommendations to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver powerful data insights and reporting, transforming HSEQ data into meaningful analytics, dashboards and performance measures that support strategic decision-making.
• Identify trends, risks and opportunities, using data analysis to provide proactive recommendations that strengthen organisational performance.
• Drive continuous improvement across HSEQ systems and reporting, enhancing data quality, governance and IMS frameworks.
• Partner with operational leaders and stakeholders, providing trusted advice and evidence-based recommendations that support informed decisions.
• Lead and contribute to high-impact initiatives to improve HSEQ performance and compliance.
