Bellingen Shire Council is seeking an HSEQ Officer to maintain and improve its Integrated Management System (IMS) and related documentation to meet quality, WHS and environmental standards. The role combines office and field work across Council projects.

You will conduct audits, inspections, incident investigations and risk assessments, updating procedures and guiding staff on safe work practices. A NSW Driver Licence and White Card are essential.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience in quality assurance, environmental compliance or WHS.
• Experience implementing and improving management systems in construction/maintenance environments.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake audits, workplace inspections, incident investigations and risk assessments.
• Identify and manage non-conformances and monitor corrective actions.
• Review and update IMS documentation; develop procedures and provide advice on quality, safety and environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and staff to identify opportunities to improve systems and practices.
