Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced, hands-on HSEQ Manager to lead and manage health, safety, environment and quality across our electrical construction operations. Reporting to management, you will own the HSEQ systems and work closely with project managers, supervisors and site teams to maintain safe workplaces and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety required.
• Experience independently managing HSEQ within construction or electrical contracting.
• Knowledge of construction safety requirements and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve HSEQ systems, policies and procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and audits with corrective actions.
• Oversee SWMS, risk assessments and project HSEQ plans.
• Lead incident investigations and implement preventative actions.
• Manage inductions, training requirements and competency records.
• Monitor legislative, client and project HSEQ requirements.
• Oversee environmental controls, quality processes and non-conformances.
• Report HSEQ performance to management and provide practical site guidance.
• Coordinate external audits and maintain ISO certifications where applicable.
