Job summary

AustCorp Executive is looking for an HSEQ Advisor to support a Facilities Management organisation in delivering comprehensive HSEQ advice to operations. The role covers hands-on safety, quality and ESG data activities across multiple sites in Sydney, with travel required.

You will lead incident investigations, develop SWMS/SOPs/MSDS, and deliver training to employees and contractors while ensuring compliance and safety excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years OHS Advisor experience.
• Experience creating SWMS, SOPs and MSDS.
• Willingness to travel to sites across Sydney for HSE activities.
• Full Australian work rights and ability to obtain National Police Check.
• Experience in cleaning, man guarding, or maintenance trades.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Health, Safety and Quality advice across sites.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.

HSEQ Advisor to support a Facilities Management organisation to deliver HSEQ advice and support to business operations.

Outline Duties

Providing hands-on Health, Safety and Quality advice and support across soft services sites, including leading incident investigations, identifying root causes and supporting the implementation of corrective actions.

• Deliver training and site inductions to employees and contractors, ensuring they understand relevant Health, Safety and Quality requirements.
• Conducting audits and maintaining safety records to ensure compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
• Gathering and analysing ESG and sustainability data to support accurate reporting and compliance.
• Identifying risk and assessing hazards, then recommending methods to control risk and hazards.

Skills and Attributes

• Experience working within cleaning and man guarding, or maintenance trades.
• 3+ years OHS Advisor experience.
• Strong experience in being able to create SWMS, SOPs and MSDS.
• The ability to work with internal and external stakeholders in providing HSEQ knowledge and training.
• This role will require travel to various sites across Sydney to deliver multiple HSE activities, including conducting HSE inspections and investigations.
• Full Permanent Australian Work Rights and able to secure a National Police Check.
