Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Health, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an EHS, HSE, WHS, or Safety Advisor role.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with site leadership teams across manufacturing and distribution operations to drive EHS performance.
  • Provide practical advice and support to managers, supervisors, and employees on workplace health and safety obligations.
  • Develop, implement, and promote EHS standards, systems, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
  • Maintain regulatory registers, training records, and legislative compliance requirements.
  • Lead workplace incident and injury investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and effective corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver engaging EHS training and awareness programs to employees and management.
  • Support workers' compensation and return-to-work processes where required.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen safety culture and operational performance.

EHS Advisor (Business Partner)

Our client is seeking an experienced EHS Advisor (Business Partner) to support manufacturing and distribution operations, partnering closely with site leadership teams to drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate EHS standards.

About the Role

As the EHS Advisor, you will act as a trusted partner to operational leaders, providing expert guidance, coaching, and support on all aspects of environmental, health, and safety management.

You will play a key role in strengthening safety performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and zero harm.

About You

  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach to safety and compliance.
Highly Regarded
  • Experience with dangerous goods handling, storage, and transport.
  • Internal Auditor qualifications (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and/or ISO 14001).
  • Experience supporting workers' compensation and return-to-work programs.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
