Qualifications

• H&S leadership experience in a project environment.
• Experience in a project environment.
• Tertiary qualification in H&S preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Safety Regulations and Act.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Commitment to everyone’s safety.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of H&S professionals across safety, emergency response, training, radiation, health and Hygiene
• Implement a safety maturity (safety culture) continuous improvement plan
• Support the project leadership team in planning for safe execution of packages or work
• Provide governance and assurance over incident investigations and oversee compliance with investigation processes throughout the project
• Oversee the management of H&S systems and tools to support the project
