Job summary

Contract Resources is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to join the Gladstone team. The role focuses on fostering a strong health, safety and wellbeing culture, providing practical guidance, and supporting safe delivery of operations across client sites in Gladstone and Queensland.

The successful candidate will lead investigations, develop risk controls, and ensure compliance with the HSE Management System while travelling to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in WHS is essential.
• Experience in industrial, resources, mining, energy sectors.
• Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture across multiple sites and client facilities.
• Provide practical HSE guidance to managers and staff.
• Develop, review and implement risk assessments and safe work practices.
• Investigation of incidents with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with HSE management system and client requirements.
• Conduct inspections, audits and HSE program improvements.
• Report on HSE performance and drive safety initiatives.
• Coordinate site inductions, toolbox talks and training.
