Job summary

Pacific National is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to join our Queensland-based HSE team. You will partner with leaders to strengthen safety culture, lead risk assessments, investigations and continuous improvement across multi-site operations.

In this role you will coach leaders, drive corrective actions, and embed fit-for-purpose HSE systems while supporting the business during growth and expansion. Travel to regional sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Health & Safety, Occupational Risk, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience delivering HSE outcomes across multi-site operations.
• 5+ years in rail haulage, logistics or mining safety.
• Ability to implement hazard and risk controls.
• Experience coaching leaders and conducting investigations.
• Exposure to Major Hazard Facilities or dangerous goods valued.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support leaders to strengthen safety culture and HSE capability.
• Lead risk assessments and critical control management activities.
• Drive incident investigations and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Partner with operations to identify risks and implement improvements.
• Support and continuously improve HSE systems, processes and standards.
• Facilitate audits, inspections and compliance assurance activities.
• Deliver HSE training, guidance and awareness programs.
• Monitor safety performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor during growth and expansion.
• Travel to regional Queensland sites as required.
